40k on Ice Armidale’s tabletop gaming community is preparing to roll the dice for their upcoming Tournament. Tabletop Gamers United will host 40K On Ice. The Tournament is centred on Warhammer, a strategic tabletop tactics game that has been played worldwide for decades. There is a cost if playing.

The University of New England is hosting a free, family-friendly celebration of freshwater turtle conservation, giving the visitors a behind-the-scenes peek into its Turtle Lab. The day will include live turtles, as well as tours of the Natural History Museum and the turtle research labs where visitors can discover the real-world work that goes into protecting New England’s endangered Bell’s Turtle.
