Armidale Events

The new exhibition at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place will be Tiddas (a group exhibition celebrating resilience on big water, big sky Country). The exhibition features a diverse range of First Nations artworks from three different artists with different styles and techniques of painting acrylic on canvas. The exhibiting artists are Doona Moodie (Gomeroi/Kamillaro Nation), Josie Rose Atkinson and Alison Williams (Gumbaynggir Nation).

The proposed Australian Transport Museum incorporating the Armidale Transport Museum and the Classic and Specialist Car Club Armidale has set up a fabulous array of classic cars and motorcycles for enthusiasts to drool over. The display will be changed regularly so that a large range of vehicles can be seen.

Line dancing is for all ages, it is fun and great exercise. Please wear soft soled shoes.

Do you like to walk for exercise? Armidale Amblers is a group of friendly people who walk together for fitness and companionship. There is no committee and no membership fee. There are slow, medium, and faster walkers who walk varying distances.  All ages are welcome. Just come along. Just turn up to see who is there. Every Sunday, the Kilda host a fun and friendly pool competition. Open to all, $5 to enter, with $100 first prize up for grabs.

A regular old-time jam for string players held on the first Thursday of every month. Kids and learners are welcome! Feel free to just listen or join in.
