The art form of dance permeates music of the Baroque era. Early music specialists Jane Downer (baroque oboe/oboe d’amore), Margaret Caley (baroque violin) and Camilla Tafra (baroque cello) perform selections from JS Bach’s iconic suites and partitas for solo instruments, alongside Bach’s Trio Pastorale & Organ Trio BWV 529. Ticket also available at door.

There will be baked goods, craft items, plants, woodwork, produce, collectables, lots of other pretty and practical things. Refreshments will be served throughout the day. Bring $8 cash for a lovely morning tea. Other purchases may be paid for at the door by either EFTPOS or cash.

A not-to-be-missed recital featuring two of Australia’s most compelling musicians. Pianist Konstantin Shamray, acclaimed for his fearless virtuosity and commanding artistry, joins clarinettist David Griffiths, renowned for his superb musicianship and versatility. Their program features Brahms’ Sonata in F minor, Weber’s Grand Duo, and Novacek’s Four Rags. This concert marks the first stop of their regional tour, with Armidale launching an exciting musical journey.
