The Arcadia Theatre is an historic building in Guyra, New South Wales, that has been given a new life. Opened in 1929, the theatre once hosted films, boxing matches, and other events. Today, it is home to the Australian Poetry Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was established in 2020 and aims to preserve and celebrate Australian poetry and its poets. The art form of dance permeates music of the Baroque era. Early music specialists Jane Downer (baroque oboe/oboe d’amore), Margaret Caley (baroque violin) and Camilla Tafra (baroque cello) perform selections from JS Bach’s iconic suites and partitas for solo instruments, alongside Bach’s Trio Pastorale & Organ Trio BWV 529. Ticket also available at door.

There will be baked goods, craft items, plants, woodwork, produce, collectables, lots of other pretty and practical things. Refreshments will be served throughout the day. Bring $8 cash for a lovely morning tea. Other purchases may be paid for at the door by either EFTPOS or cash.

7.55am for 8.00am departure from Visitor Information Centre, 82 Marsh Street. Regent Honeyeater survey week. Bring food (morning tea/lunch), water, binoculars, sunscreen and hat, and wear stout shoes, bring a picnic chair as many bush spots do not have facilities.
