This year’s judges are well-known artists Lucy and Barry McCann. They showcase a cross-section of diverse artists from across our region. The annual Prize has become a highlight of the Armidale art scene and has a range of prizes for painting, photography, sculpture/craft art, the Daphne Young Works on Paper, the David Davies Impressionist Painting Prize and a People’s Choice Award. NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and Coffs Coast Fly Fishing Club initiative. Places are limited. Led by internationally qualified casting instructor and experienced fly fishers. Workshop Presentations: rod, reel and line setup; what flies to use; Trout handling and rules; basics of fly casting; playing and landing a Trout; finish with a fishing session on the water. Tour of the hatchery; morning tea and lunch provided. Rods, reels and lines provided or bring your own.
