Saturday, 21 March - 1.00pm (judging commences); 4.00pm (lectures and presentations); 7.00pm (dinner, Armidale Ex-services Memorial Club, 137 Dumaresq Street and presentations and photographs). Sunday, 22 March - 8.30-9.30pm (auction of quality Zebra Finches).
Come along and view some gorgeous quilts and needlework and possibly meet the clever people behind these amazing exhibits. Quilt Raffle proceeds to Westpac Rescue Helicopter. Tea, coffee, sandwiches and slice available at nominal charge.
Your local Aero Club welcomes you to meet trainee and qualified pilots and instructors, talk about aeroplanes, view aircraft, sit in an aeroplane… and even fly one!* (*Flying with a qualified flight instructor as part of a Trial Instructional Flight package.) We are excited to be hosting a local Sheep Shearing Shed Tour and would love your support in sharing this unique experience with visitors to the region. Featuring new NECOM CEO, Andrew French-Northam (guitar), Chris Frater (saxophone), Wendy Griffiths (double bass). Christ and Andrew have been collaborating for many years, creating original music shaped by improvisation, experimentation and performance.
