Creative Streets Festival
New England’s biggest arts festival is back! 
Get ready for three weeks of creativity, culture and community across the Armidale Region as the Creative Streets Festival returns from 17 October to 8 November 2026.
The festival kicks off with a spectacular free Opening Night Street Festival on Saturday 17 October, when Armidale’s streets come alive with live music, theatre, dance, food, art and cultural experiences. Expect free family-friendly activities, vibrant performances, markets, interactive art installations and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
The celebrations continue throughout the region for three weeks, showcasing an exciting program of arts, culture, music, theatre, dance and community events. Festival highlights include major regional events such as Packsaddle at NERAM, the New England Garden Festival, Black Gully Festival and New England Sings.
