Set in the beautiful New England region of Armidale, NSW, New England School of Swordmanship is bringing historical fencing to the high country for an unforgettable weekend. NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and Coffs Coast Fly Fishing Club initiative. Places are limited. Led by internationally qualified casting instructor and experienced fly fishers. Workshop Presentations: rod, reel and line setup; what flies to use; Trout handling and rules; basics of fly casting; playing and landing a Trout; finish with a fishing session on the water. Tour of the hatchery; morning tea and lunch provided. Rods, reels and lines provided or bring your own.

The Arcadia Theatre is an historic building in Guyra, New South Wales, that has been given a new life. Opened in 1929, the theatre once hosted films, boxing matches, and other events. Pianist Konstantin Shamray, acclaimed for his fearless virtuosity and commanding artistry, joins clarinettist David Griffiths, renowned for his superb musicianship and versatility. Their program features Brahms’ Sonata in F minor, Weber’s Grand Duo, and Novacek’s Four Rags. This concert marks the first stop of their regional tour, with Armidale launching an exciting musical journey.
