Tea and sausages available from 11.30am. Songs of Travel The music this concert features Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Songs of Travel performed by Josiah Seaman accompanied by Robert Manley. Josiah is an emerging young Armidale singer who frequently performs as a soloist in the Presbyterian Church. Songs of Travel is a cycle of nine songs composed in 1901 by Vaughan Williams to texts by Robert Louis Stevenson. This is a good opportunity to hear Vaughan Williams’ first major vocal work.
This year's concert features a special performance of highlights from Swan Lake, with talented local ballet dancers joining the orchestra on stage. It is a unique collaboration that promises to be a magical experience for audiences of all ages.
