Balancing respected traditions with carefully considered new work, the program will include a performance of Yma, a composition by Steve Thorneycroft. This piece thoughtfully sets music to the words of four local writers - Catherine Emerson, Steve Harris, Sarah Lawrence, and Katy Haselwood - highlighting the strength and continuity of our region’s creative voices.
