Winter Blooming Festival 2026

Winter Blooming is a festival that celebrates First Nations, multicultural, LGBTQUA+ arts, culture, communities and allies. The festival is an inclusive event that supports diversity and is open to all.
Friday, 21 August – 6.00-8.00pm: Opening night and Festival Launch
Saturday, 22 August – 10.15-11.30am: You Weren’t Meant to Hear This: Todd Fernando; 11.30am-12.30pm: Professor Peter J Anderson and Dr Christina Kenny in Conversation; 12.30-1.30pm: Speaking Truth: Art, Identity and the Power of Voice Panel Discussion; 1.30-2.30pm: Lunch Break; 2.30-4.30pm: Budget Backyard Homesteading and Urban Foraging Workshop; 2.30-4.00pm: Build Your Story: Tiny Clay Houses Workshop; 7.00-10.00pm: Winter Blooming Ball.
Sunday, 23 August – 10.00am-12.30pm: Queer Brunch.
