6.00-7.30pm – $15 ($10 Friends of NERAM & Culture Club) – Packsaddle Lecture on Printing (Cecelia Heffer (Senior Lecturer, of Fashion and Textiles at the University of Technology, Sydney), Clint Harvey and Caren Florance)

In her practice, Cecelia specializes in print and contemporary lace. She will share a special collaboration with Tharangini studio in Bangalore and show the artistry of woodblock carving and printing methods involved in producing bespoke prints.

Clint Harvey & Caren Florence explain the historical information behind the Museum of Printing’s archive and how it connects with contemporary printmaking practice. This lecture will shed light on how unique it is to have hands-on access to such a priceless working collection.

Saturday

2.00pm-3.00pm – Free – NERAM Print Tour.

Guided tour of prints in the NERAM Collection guided by the Museum Director. Guests will get up close and personal with a selection of prints from the NERAM archives.

3.15pm-4.00pm – Free – Wayzgoose Press Talk (Caren Florence)

Wayzgoose Press, their work, their legacy. Caren will share the story of Australia’s most respected letterpress artists, a love story of art, culture, and childhood romance.
