Empty Space Productions’ bold re-imagining of The Winter’s Tale, will envelop the audience in a visceral experience of soundscape, immersive audio-visual, live music and stunning image-making. Some of Armidale’s most accomplished actors (Lisa Goldzieher) and musicians (Paul Armstrong) will collaborate with professionals (Stuart Lumsden, NIDA, New York Film Academy teacher), under the direction of Julie Shearer (national tours with Bell Shakespeare, Grin n Tonic, director Fools for Love, A Midsummer Night’s Dream) to bring this powerful play on loss, love and redemption to life. Come and be swept up – the play opens with a compelling psychological drama, before exploding into a joyous romantic comedy in the second half.
