Elder Abuse: To Forget is not a crime

Dr Nihal Nanda will show how elder abuse is fostered by seeing older people’s memory loss as a weakness. In fact, for all of us, no matter our age, forgetting is a biological and existential necessity. Without the capacity to forget, we would all be paralyzed by past experiences, unable to live in the present or hope for the future.
