Next to Normal is an intimate exploration of family and illness, loss and grief, featuring a thrilling rock score from composer Tom Kitt and Book and Lyrics from Brian Yorkey. At its heart is Diana, a suburban wife and mother living with bipolar disorder and haunted by her past. The musical won three Tony Awards® and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, one of only ten musicals to win the prestigious award.
