Half-12 Hours in the Piney 2026
After a hiatus of several years, the 12 Hours in the Piney is returning. Only this time it’s a six-hour race, half the previous event times.
Details of the six-hour race are as follows: Dirtmaster (U13) Junior Race: 10.00-10.30am; Six-hour Race Rider Briefing: 10.45am; Race Start: 11.00am, Last Lap Cutoff: 5.00pm; Presentations: 6.00pm.
The Track
We are working on the race route being at least 9km in length. This has included building some new trails, refurbishing old trails and giving everything else a polish. The route will encompass trails on the eastern side of The Piney, close to Pine Forest Road, with some of the old favorites no longer available to ride due to the recent active forest management. But the route will be fun with enough added spice for all skill levels. More details on the race route will be available leading into the event.
Prizes
There will be prizes for category winners, with more details to follow.
Food and Drinks
We are looking into options for catering of riders and their support teams during the event. More information on this is to follow.
