A Community Resilience Evening with Dr Lyn Worsley

This unique event will include a keynote presentation on the latest factors for building resilience, followed by a panel of local professionals, creating a space for conversation and connection. This event is relevant and beneficial for: parents wanting to learn how to build resilience in kids; professional development for health professionals, students wanting to build resilience and members of the community AND anyone want to build resilience!

Dr Lyn Worsley is a Clinical Psychologist, former nurse and teacher, and Director of The Resilience Centre in Sydney. For over 26 years she has led innovative research and training that has shaped strengths-based, solution-focused and client-centred therapies. Lyn is the author of the resilience model that is an internationally recognised and utilised evidence-based framework for building resilience in individuals, families, schools, organisations and communities, always with a focus on practical strategies that help people and communities thrive. Lyn holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with research on the social determinants of mental health and is known for her engaging, down-to-earth teaching style.
