Big Chill Festival

The Big Chill Festival is back for its sixth year, bringing legendary vibes and unforgettable experiences. Featuring a unique lineup, including The Presets, The Jungle Giants, Meg Mac, Sneaky Sound System, Mia Wray, Pierce Brothers, Jess Ribeiro, Al Heeney Rhythm & Blues Band, No Cigar, Liquid Zoo and Electric Postman.

The Big Chill is more than just music. It’s a celebration of Armidale’s vibrant local culture, showcasing award-winning craft beers, local distilleries, wineries, and gourmet food trucks. Attendees will enjoy world-renowned BBQ pitmasters smoking up a storm, interactive experiences, and cozy fire pits under the open sky.

For families, there’s a dedicated “Little Chillers” zone, a chilli-eating competition for the brave-hearted, and the cold-water Big Chilly Dip (Sunday, 17 May at Dumaresq Dam from 8.00-10.00am – tickets sold separately) for those brave, hardy souls. Throughout the weekend, Armidale’s booming creative culture will be up front and centre, as a go-to cool climate destination for food, drinks, and adventure.

First release tickets for the Big Chill 2026 will go on sale from Tuesday, 27 January and are available for purchase via the Big Chill website.
