Bachianas: EphenStephen & Katie Lawrence

An intimate concert spanning musical eras and styles, with works by Vivaldi (as arranged by J.S.Bach), Heitor Villa-Lobos, Béla Kovács, Agustín Barrios, and contemporary composer Bill Frisell.

Stephen Tafra will be performing both in duet and as a soloist exclusively on his first instrument, piano accordion, with Steve Thorneycroft performing on guitar, and Sarah Lawrence performing original poetry written in partnership with the music.

All proceeds will be donated to the 2027 New England Bach Festival.
