Armidale Symphony Orchestra – “Lux Perpetua”

Tickets at the door – $25 (adult), $5 (student). Booking online incurs fee.

This concert features the Haydn Symphony No. 92 in G major. This work was first performed at the ceremony in which Haydn was awarded the Doctorate of Music from Oxford University, and has thus been known as ‘the Oxford symphony’. This work will be conducted by James McKay.

Also featured is Cherubini’s Requiem in C minor. The Orchestra will be joined by the Armidale Choral Society for this work. Robert van Gend is the conductor for the Requiem.
