A Voice to Parliament – Hon. Mark Dreyfus KC MHR (Isaacs) ,Commonwealth Attorney-General and Cabinet Secretary at the University of New England

The Hon. Mark Dreyfus KC MHR was appointed Commonwealth Attorney General and Cabinet Secretary in June 2022. He is the First Law Officer of the Commonwealth of Australia. Mark was first elected to the House of Representatives as the Member for Isaacs (Victoria) in 2007. He is a passionate defender of the rule of law, freedom of the press and for a powerful and independent anti-corruption commission. He believes in creating a sustainable economy and environment for future generations. His first speech to Parliament reflected upon his experience in working for and with Indigenous Australians and his concern for the environment.
