Guyra Family Day

Thanks to the partnership with Guyra Local Aboriginal Land Council with Armidale Regional Council for hosting the Family Day. The day is part of the national NAIDOC week celebrations, which are held in July each year. It is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations’ cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. This year the message of NAIDOC week was Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!

The Family Day is a chance to share music, history and culture and coming together to meet each other in a relaxed and social way. Entertainment by Terra Firma, open mic, cultural activities and events. Free BBQ.
