DESCRIPTION:ANZAC Day is the time for the community to come together and pay tribute to the first ANZACs and to all the brave servicemen and women who have since followed in their footsteps. \n4.45am               Gunfire refreshments at Armidale Ex-services Memorial Club\, 137 Dumaresq Street \n5.25am               Remembrance service for past members of Armidale Ex-services Memorial Club \n5.45am              Dawn service at Central Park\, Armidale \n6.30am               Fellowship for veterans and service personnel at Armidale Ex-services Memorial Club (address by Ron Pickress\, a 101 year old veteran) \n7.00am               Breakfast for veterans and service personnel at Ex-services Memorial Club \n8.45am               Memorial Service at Dangarsleigh (Dangarsleigh War Memorial\, 755 Dangarsleigh Road) \n10.30am             ANZAC Day march – participants will assemble in Faulkner Street\, adjacent to Post Office \n10.45am             ANZAC Day marchers will parade along Faulkner Street towards Central Park \n10.43am             Fly past by two RAAF F/A 18 Super Hornets – south to north along Faulkner Street \n11.00am            Main commemoration service at Central Park \n12.45-2.00pm   Luncheon at Armidale Ex-services Memorial Club \nThere will be a temporary rolling road closure in place in Faulkner Street between Dumaresq and Barney Streets\, Beardy Street (East Mall) at Rusden Street roundabout and in front of Armidale Court House (Moore Street) prior to and during march. As the march relocates to Central Park\, Tingcombe Lane and Faulkner Street (at Barney Street) will be closed. The roads will be reopened once the parade has passed. In the event of inclement weather\, the service will be conducted in the Town Hall\, 127 Rusden Street. Such changes will be announced over the local radio station.

SUMMARY:ANZAC Day - Guyra/Ben Lomond
DESCRIPTION:The Guyra RSL Sub-branch will hold the following services to commemorate ANZAC Day: \n5.45am – Dawn Service\, followed by a light breakfast at the Soldiers’ Memorial Hall (163 Bradley Street\, Guyra)\n9.00am – Service at the Multi-purpose Service (44 Sole Street\, Guyr)\n10.00am – Form up at Four Ways for the march\n10.30am – March down Bradley Street\n10.45am – Main Service at the Soldiers Memorial Hall\n11.00am – F/A 18F Super Hornets fly-past\n12.30pm – Lunch at the Bowling Club (192 Bradley Street\, Guyra) – discount lunch vouchers for RSL members and veterans will be available \nMembers of No.1 Squadron RAAF Amberley will attend the ANZAC Day services and a fly-past by No. 1 Squadron RAAF is scheduled for 11.00am. Members of the community are asked to be aware that this fly-past will be quite noisy. \nThe ANZAC Day Commemorative Address will be given by Major Erin Archibald. Erin who was born and educated in Guyra and has a long connection with Guyra’s military history through her many family members who have served. After the official wreath-laying\, anyone wishing to lay a memorial tribute is invited to do so. There will be a ‘bucket brigade’ with VRA members circulating amongst the crowd during both the Dawn Service and the Main Service to raise much needed funds for the Guyra Sub-branch of the RSL so that the RSL can continue to support veterans and their families.\nThe Guyra RSL Sub-branch encourages main street businesses to join in commemorating ANZAC Day by doing a window display of memorabilia. \nBradley Street from Moredun Street to the southern side of the Soldier’s Memorial Hall\, will be closed between 5.30 and 7.00am. Road closures will be implemented along Bradley Street from Ollera Street to the southern side of the Soldier’s Memorial Hall between 10.00am and 12.00pm. Roads will reopen progressively once the march has passed and it is safe to do so. Motorists are advised to expect short delays and to follow directions of traffic controllers and NSW Police to ensure access for emergency services is maintained. \nBen Lomond\nOn ANZAC Day there will be a service and wreath laying at Ben Lomond War Memorial Hall at 9.00am. Visitors will be most welcome.
