DESCRIPTION:Legendary Celtic Guitarist Tony McManus has extended and transcended the parameters of contemporary Celtic music. Ranked alongside the guitar world’s all-time greats\, his fiendishly dexterous\, dazzlingly original playing draws on traditions from the entire Celtic diaspora – Scotland\, Ireland\, Brittany\, Galicia\, Asturias\, Cape Breton\, Quebec – along with flavours\, such as jazz and east European music. His has an uncanny ability to transpose the delicate\, complex ornamentation of traditional bagpipe or fiddle tunes – even the phrasing of a Gaelic song – onto his own six strings. \nJoining him in a most rare collaboration is Golden Fiddle and South Australia Music Hall of Fame Awarded instrumentalist Andrew Clermont on soaring Fiddle\, Mandolin & Guitar with nearly 30 years of his musical Supper Club under his belt from across the world! Clermont is renowned for his exquisite concert sound. \nTicket also available at door ($35 cash).
