DESCRIPTION:Warrumbungle National Park 2026 programs \nThis is an immersive four-week program to help kids aged 5 to 12 build confidence\, curiosity and a strong connection to nature. They will visit a different location within Warrumbungle National Park each week to discover new environments and learn fresh skills. This will be mapped out in the first week. Expect short bushwalks\, interactive games and creative activities that explore how we can care for and enjoy Australia’s natural places. Special visits from National Parks Wildlife Service staff will give children a behind-the-scenes look at what it is like to work as a park ranger and care for protected landscapes. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us at Oxley Wild Rivers National Park to celebrate the official reopening of the Dangars Gorge precinct – one of the New England region’s most spectacular natural destinations. \nRecent upgrades have improved access\, safety and visitor facilities\, including a new bridge over Salisbury Waters\, better access to 10.5km of walking tracks and four scenic lookouts\, and refreshed campground facilities. Come along to explore the upgrades\, enjoy the views\, and celebrate this iconic place with the community. a Free BBQ lunch and hot drinks will be available\, with a coffee van on site. \nShuttle buses will run from the designated parking area at the Gorge. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to allow for transfers. Disability parking available.
