DESCRIPTION:Tea and sausages available from 11.30am. \nMozart’s Vespers \nThe music this Market Sunday Concert features the Armidale Choral Society singing Mozart’s Vesperae Sollenes  (Solemn Vespers). \nAlthough this work adopts the solemn text of the Vespers service\, the music sets out to imitate the words with beautiful sounds to reflect the texts. The result offers some sparkling music that shows Mozart at his brilliant best. \nMozart manages to set the solemn purpose of worship in a joyous exercise in praise of God.  The truly solemn song at the centre of this set of pieces is the very famous Laudate Dominum for soprano solo. \nThis work will be conducted by Graham Maddox and accompanied by Robyn Bradley.  There will be a local soloist and a quartet of solo voices from among the Choristers.

For over 26 years she has led innovative research and training that has shaped strengths-based\, solution-focused and client-centred therapies. Lyn is the author of the resilience model that is an internationally recognised and utilised evidence-based framework for building resilience in individuals\, families\, schools\, organisations and communities\, always with a focus on practical strategies that help people and communities thrive. Lyn holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology\, with research on the social determinants of mental health and is known for her engaging\, down-to-earth teaching style.
