Viola finds herself shipwrecked on the idyllic island of Illyria. To protect herself, she dresses as a serving boy, but in doing so gets caught in a scandalous love triangle. Along the way, fools, puritans, drunks, and knights all vying for power or love are encountered, getting in each other’s way in the process.
